Automatic Logout
We're excited to announce an update which adds even more security to Breeze.
Historically users who log into Breeze remain logged in indefinitely until they logout. Many users find this very convenient as they can just go to their Breeze account without having to remember or type in a username or password each time they visit the site.
In some environments however this is less than ideal, especially where the same computer is shared by multiple people. Even the most detail-oriented administrator may forget now and then to click the logout button when they wrap up.
To help with security in these scenarios we've added the option for users to be automatically logged out after a certain amount of time. This option has been added onto the role permissions list so that administrators can have different logout behavior for different roles. For instance you might:
By default, user accounts will operate as they always have by only being logged out if the user clicks the logout button. However, if you have concerns about someone accessing a computer that may have previously been logged into a high-level account, we hope this will be a great tool that serves you well.
We'd love to show you what we built!
