February 2019 Updates
Keeping you informed of product updates and enhancements.
Highlights include: 1. Profile Pictures Support Portrait Mode 2. Graph Reporting in Contributions has joined the dark side and 3. Anonymous Attendance Data separation to make viewing attendance data accurate all the time.
Previously, pictures that were in portrait mode or squared were often cut off. Now, when uploading a picture that is not landscape, you’ll be given a black border on either side of the photo so that you can include the entire image in the frame. Adding Profile Pictures
Our graphs have gotten a shade (or two) darker making reading and printing the graphs much easier. Unfamiliar with our graphs? We have a great contribution reporting section which gives detailed descriptions of giving over time, number of contributors, total amount by family, givers vs non-givers, method, and first-time givers. Find out more here: Searching Contributions and Creating Giving Reports
When you enter anonymous attendance, it would get mixed in with all of the other attendance data and resulted in an influx of numbers when separating by tag. Now attendance data will be split from the other numbers when separating by tag to make it clear which names were actually checked in by tag, and which were entered anonymously. Attendance Filters
No more accidentally creating tag folders when you intended to create a tag. Tag folders are now safely tucked under a dropdown under “New Tag”. Don't forget to use your tag folders to sort and organize all of your tags!
Month View is an option in the “view” dropdown on a mobile app. This is ideally only used for a large phone or tablet.
When the credit card that pays your subscription expires or is no longer active, you’ll get a popup on the dashboard alerting you that you’ll need to update your payment method. No more having to remember or dig into the account settings to check if you’ve updated your card information.
For our Canadian organizations, we’ve added a set of statement templates to help you generate contribution statements in accordance with the requirements of the Canadian Government:
- Non-Cash Receipt (Canada Revenue Agency)
- Standard (Canada Revenue Agency)
- The Kitchen Sink (Canada Revenue Agency)
- Window Envelopes (Canada Revenue Agency)
- Double Window Envelopes (Canada Revenue Agency)
- With Cover Letter (Canada Revenue Agency)
We've fixed a bug in the Form Entry list that prevented it from being sorted. Now, when you click on the column headers, the data sorts. The sorting also works if you've filtered the entries.
School Grades Automatically Promote on June 15th. Looking to change that date? You can now find that setting under Automated Tasks (More > Tasks > Automated Tasks).
Previously: You had to select the edit/delete column from the column picker.
Update: We have removed the Edit/Delete column from the column picker and we now always show these buttons as long as you have the respective permission
Previously: For form confirmations and Online Giving receipts we did not display the sent to email.
Update: We now display this email in the log.
UTF-8 support has been added for usernames, user first names, user last names, and fund groups. This allows characters outside of the traditional latin character set to be used in these areas (These characters are already supported in many other areas of Breeze).
We look forward to sharing continued product updates and enhancements as we strive to be the world’s easiest web-based church management software for small and mid-sized churches. Cheers to you doing great work in ministry!
We'd love to show you what we built!
